The Little Salon Orchestra is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2015 in New York City. The group was formed by a group of musicians who shared a passion for chamber music and wanted to create a space where they could perform and share their love of classical music with others. The founding members of the Little Salon Orchestra were violinist and artistic director, Sarah Whitney, cellist, Laura Metcalf, and pianist, Liza Stepanova. The group has since expanded to include a rotating cast of musicians, including some of the most talented and sought-after performers in the classical music world. The Little Salon Orchestra is known for its innovative and eclectic programming, which often includes lesser-known works by composers from a variety of genres and time periods.
