From a young age, Peter was exposed to classical music and began playing the piano at the age of four. In 1996, Peter was accepted into the Vienna Conservatory, where he studied under some of the most renowned piano teachers in the world. During his time at the conservatory, Peter continued to win competitions and perform in concerts, and he quickly gained a reputation as one of the most promising young pianists of his generation. After graduating from the conservatory in 2005, Peter began performing professionally, and he quickly gained a following for his virtuosic performances and his ability to bring new life to classical works. He performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. In 2008, Peter won the prestigious International Piano Competition in Moscow, cementing his reputation as one of the world's leading pianists. He continued to win awards and accolades throughout his career, including the Chopin Prize in 2012 and the Beethoven Prize in 2015. Peter was known for his ability to bring new life to classical works, and he was particularly renowned for his interpretations of the works of Chopin and Beethoven.
