Eric Rombach-Kendall is a renowned conductor and music educator who has made significant contributions to the world of classical music. Born on August 22, 1969, in the United States, Rombach-Kendall grew up in a family of musicians and was exposed to music from a young age. His father was a professional trumpet player, and his mother was a music teacher. Rombach-Kendall started playing the trumpet at the age of 10 and quickly developed a passion for music. Rombach-Kendall attended the University of North Texas, where he earned a Bachelor of Music degree in trumpet performance. He then went on to earn a Master of Music degree in conducting from the University of Colorado at Boulder. During his time at the University of Colorado, Rombach-Kendall studied under the renowned conductor Allan McMurray, who had a significant influence on his career. After completing his studies, Rombach-Kendall began his career as a conductor, working with various orchestras and ensembles across the United States. He served as the music director of the Boulder Chamber Orchestra from 1996 to 2001 and the music director of the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra from 2001 to 2011. During his tenure with the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra, Rombach-Kendall led the orchestra to new heights, earning critical acclaim for his innovative programming and dynamic performances. In addition to his work as a conductor, Rombach-Kendall is also a respected music educator. He has served as a faculty member at the University of Northern Colorado since 2001, where he teaches conducting and trumpet. He has also served as a guest conductor and clinician at various universities and music festivals across the United States. In 2009, he was named the Colorado Music Educator of the Year by the Colorado Music Educators Association.
