John Kinzie was born on May 15, 1985, in Chicago, Illinois. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a professional pianist and his mother a violinist. Kinzie started playing the piano at the age of four and showed exceptional talent from an early age. As a child, Kinzie participated in various local competitions and won several awards. He also performed at various events and concerts, showcasing his exceptional skills on the piano. Kinzie's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. After completing his high school education, Kinzie enrolled at the Juilliard School in New York City, one of the most prestigious music schools in the world. He studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Yoheved Kaplinsky. During his time at Juilliard, Kinzie won several awards and accolades, including the prestigious Gina Bachauer Piano Scholarship. After graduating from Juilliard, Kinzie embarked on a successful career as a concert pianist. He performed at various venues across the United States and Europe, including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and the Royal Albert Hall. Kinzie's performances were highly acclaimed by critics and audiences alike, and he quickly gained a reputation as one of the most talented pianists of his generation. In 2010, Kinzie released his debut album, which featured works by Chopin, Liszt, and Beethoven. The album received critical acclaim and was praised for Kinzie's exceptional technique and musicality.
