From a young age, Evans showed a natural talent for music, and he began playing the piano at the age of four. Evans received his formal music education at the Juilliard School in New York City, where he studied under the renowned pianist and teacher, Yoheved Kaplinsky. He graduated from Juilliard with a Bachelor of Music degree in 2007 and went on to pursue a Master of Music degree at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. Throughout his education, Evans received numerous awards and accolades for his musical talent. In 2005, he won the Juilliard Concerto Competition, which allowed him to perform as a soloist with the Juilliard Orchestra. He also won the Philadelphia Orchestra Concerto Competition in 2008, which led to a performance with the orchestra under the baton of conductor Charles Dutoit. After completing his studies, Evans began to establish himself as a soloist and chamber musician. He has performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and the Berlin Philharmonic. He has also collaborated with many of the world's leading orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and the London Symphony Orchestra. One of Evans' most notable performances was his debut with the Berlin Philharmonic in 2012.
