Mathieu Dubroca is a French classical music artist who has made a name for himself as a talented clarinetist and conductor. Born on May 12, 1985, in Bordeaux, France, Dubroca showed an early interest in music and began playing the clarinet at the age of 8. He quickly demonstrated a natural talent for the instrument and began studying with renowned clarinetist Philippe Cuper. Dubroca's early musical education was focused on classical music, and he spent many hours practicing and perfecting his technique. He attended the Conservatoire de Bordeaux, where he studied under the tutelage of Jean-Marc Volta and earned his diploma in clarinet performance with honors. He then went on to study at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where he studied with Michel Arrignon and Philippe Berrod. Throughout his studies, Dubroca participated in numerous competitions and festivals, earning recognition for his exceptional talent. In 2005, he won first prize at the International Clarinet Competition in Ghent, Belgium, and in 2007, he was awarded the prestigious Prix de la Fondation Cziffra. Dubroca's career as a professional musician began in earnest in 2008, when he was appointed principal clarinetist of the Orchestre National de Bordeaux Aquitaine. He quickly established himself as a leading performer in the orchestra, and his talent and dedication were recognized when he was appointed as the orchestra's assistant conductor in 2011. As a conductor, Dubroca has led numerous orchestras and ensembles, including the Orchestre National de Bordeaux Aquitaine, the Orchestre de Chambre de Toulouse, and the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris. He has also conducted performances at major venues throughout Europe, including the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Konzerthaus in Vienna. Dubroca's performances have been praised for their technical precision, musicality, and emotional depth.
