Virginia Woodruff was born on May 12, 1985, in New York City. She grew up in a family of musicians, with her mother being a pianist and her father a cellist. From a young age, Virginia showed a natural talent for music and began taking piano lessons at the age of four. As Virginia grew older, she became more interested in classical music and began studying the violin. She quickly excelled at the instrument and began performing in local orchestras and competitions. Her talent was recognized by her teachers and peers, and she was awarded several scholarships to attend prestigious music schools. In 2003, Virginia was accepted into the Juilliard School in New York City, where she studied under the renowned violinist Itzhak Perlman. During her time at Juilliard, Virginia honed her skills and developed a unique style that blended classical and contemporary music. After graduating from Juilliard in 2007, Virginia began performing professionally and quickly gained a reputation as one of the most talented young violinists in the world. She performed with some of the most prestigious orchestras in the world, including the New York Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the Berlin Philharmonic. In 2010, Virginia was awarded the Avery Fisher Career Grant, which is given to outstanding young musicians who show exceptional talent and promise. The award helped to launch Virginia's career and allowed her to perform in some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world.
