Barham attended the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and composer, Sir William Lloyd Webber. During his time at the academy, Barham honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of classical music. He graduated with honors in 1972 and began his career as a professional musician. In 1974, he made his debut performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London, where he played Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5.
