The choir is based in New York City and is made up of young singers between the ages of 5 and 18. The birth of Trinity Youth Chorus can be traced back to the year 2001 when the Trinity Church Wall Street in New York City decided to start a youth choir. The church wanted to provide an opportunity for young people to learn and perform classical music while also instilling in them a sense of discipline and teamwork. One of the highlights of Trinity Youth Chorus' early years was their performance at the 9/11 Memorial Service in 2002.
