Katherine Greene was born on May 15, 1985, in New York City. She grew up in a family of musicians, with her mother being a pianist and her father a cellist. From a young age, Katherine showed a natural talent for music and began taking piano lessons at the age of four. As she grew older, Katherine's love for music only intensified. She began studying the violin at the age of eight and quickly became proficient in the instrument. By the time she was a teenager, Katherine was already performing in local orchestras and winning awards for her musical abilities. After graduating from high school, Katherine attended the Juilliard School in New York City, where she studied under some of the most renowned violinists in the world. During her time at Juilliard, Katherine honed her skills and developed a unique style that would set her apart from other classical musicians. In 2007, Katherine made her debut as a soloist with the New York Philharmonic. The performance was a huge success, and Katherine quickly became known as one of the most talented young violinists in the world. Over the next few years, she performed with some of the most prestigious orchestras in the world, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Vienna Philharmonic. In 2010, Katherine was awarded the Avery Fisher Career Grant, which is given to outstanding young musicians who show exceptional talent and promise. The award helped to further cement Katherine's reputation as one of the most promising young musicians of her generation. Over the next few years, Katherine continued to perform at the highest level, earning critical acclaim for her performances and recordings. In 2014, she released her debut album, which featured works by Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms.
