He was born on December 12, 1960, in Moscow, Russia. From a young age, Vladimir showed a keen interest in music, and his parents encouraged him to pursue his passion. Vladimir began his musical education at the Gnessin School of Music in Moscow, where he studied piano under the guidance of Professor Vera Gornostaeva. He showed exceptional talent and quickly rose through the ranks, winning several competitions and awards. In 1978, he won the First Prize at the All-Union Piano Competition in Tbilisi, Georgia, and in 1980, he won the First Prize at the International Piano Competition in Senigallia, Italy. After completing his studies at the Gnessin School of Music, Vladimir continued his education at the Moscow State Conservatory, where he studied under the tutelage of Professor Lev Naumov. He graduated with honors in 1985 and went on to pursue a successful career as a concert pianist. Vladimir has performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including the Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Salle Pleyel in Paris. He has also performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic. One of Vladimir's most memorable performances was his rendition of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 3 with the London Symphony Orchestra at the Barbican Centre in London in 1992. The performance was hailed as a triumph, and Vladimir received a standing ovation from the audience. In addition to his successful career as a concert pianist, Vladimir is also a respected music educator. He has taught at the Moscow State Conservatory and the Gnessin School of Music, and he has given masterclasses all over the world.
