From a young age, Spiro showed a natural talent for music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Spiro's parents recognized his potential and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking piano lessons with his father and quickly progressed, mastering complex pieces by Mozart and Beethoven at a young age. By the time he was a teenager, Spiro had already performed in several concerts and competitions, winning numerous awards for his exceptional talent. In 2003, Spiro was accepted into the Athens Conservatory, where he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and composer, Dimitris Sgouros. He enrolled in the Juilliard School in New York City, where he studied under the tutelage of Yoheved Kaplinsky, one of the most respected piano teachers in the world. During his time at Juilliard, Spiro continued to excel, winning several awards and competitions, including the prestigious Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition in 2010. Spiro's talent and dedication to his craft did not go unnoticed, and he soon began receiving invitations to perform at some of the world's most renowned concert halls. In 2011, he made his debut at Carnegie Hall, where he received a standing ovation for his performance of Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 1. The following year, he performed at the Royal Albert Hall in London, where he received critical acclaim for his interpretation of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2. He has also collaborated with some of the world's most renowned conductors, including Daniel Barenboim, Zubin Mehta, and Valery Gergiev. In addition to his performances, Spiro has also released several albums, showcasing his talent as both a performer and a composer.
