Franz Setzer was a renowned classical music artist who was born on May 12, 1945, in Vienna, Austria. He was the son of a music teacher and grew up in a family that was deeply involved in music. From a young age, Setzer showed a keen interest in music and began playing the violin at the age of six. Setzer's talent was quickly recognized, and he was accepted into the Vienna Conservatory at the age of ten. He studied under some of the most renowned violinists of the time, including Franz Samohyl and Franz Samohyl Jr. Setzer's dedication and hard work paid off, and he graduated from the conservatory with top honors. After completing his studies, Setzer began his professional career as a soloist and chamber musician.
