The Tübingen Festival Band is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2005 in Tübingen, Germany. The ensemble is made up of a group of highly skilled musicians who are passionate about classical music and dedicated to bringing it to audiences around the world. The founding members of the Tübingen Festival Band were all students at the University of Tübingen, where they met and began playing together. They quickly discovered a shared love of classical music and decided to form an ensemble that would allow them to perform together and share their passion with others. The main members of the Tübingen Festival Band are violinist Anna Schmidt, cellist Johannes Müller, and pianist Maria Wagner. All three members are highly trained musicians who have studied at some of the most prestigious music schools in Europe. They bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the ensemble, and their performances are always highly polished and professional. Over the years, the Tübingen Festival Band has performed at some of the most prestigious venues in Europe, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Vienna State Opera, and the Royal Albert Hall in London. They have also performed at numerous music festivals around the world, including the Salzburg Festival, the Edinburgh International Festival, and the Lucerne Festival. One of the highlights of the Tübingen Festival Band's career was their performance at the 2010 BBC Proms in London. The Proms is one of the most prestigious classical music festivals in the world, and the Tübingen Festival Band was honored to be invited to perform.
