Eduard Botric was born on May 12, 1985, in Bucharest, Romania. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Eduard showed a natural talent for music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Eduard's parents recognized his potential and enrolled him in the George Enescu Music School in Bucharest. There, he received a rigorous education in classical music and developed his skills as a pianist. He also began performing in public at a young age, playing in local concerts and competitions. In 2003, Eduard was accepted into the National University of Music in Bucharest, where he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and professor Viniciu Moroianu. During his time at the university, Eduard honed his skills as a pianist and began to develop his own unique style. After graduating from the university in 2007, Eduard began to establish himself as a professional pianist. He performed in concerts throughout Romania and Europe, gaining a reputation for his technical skill and emotional depth. In 2009, he won first prize at the George Enescu International Piano Competition, cementing his status as one of the most promising young pianists of his generation. Over the next few years, Eduard continued to perform in concerts and competitions around the world. He won numerous awards and accolades, including the Grand Prize at the International Piano Competition in San Marino and the Gold Medal at the International Piano Competition in Moscow. In 2014, Eduard released his debut album, "Chopin: The Complete Nocturnes." The album received critical acclaim and showcased Eduard's ability to interpret the works of one of the greatest composers of all time. He followed up the success of his debut album with several more recordings, including "Beethoven: The Complete Piano Sonatas" and "Schumann: The Complete Works for Piano." Throughout his career, Eduard has performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic. He has also collaborated with many of the world's most renowned conductors, including Daniel Barenboim, Zubin Mehta, and Valery Gergiev. In addition to his performing career, Eduard is also a dedicated teacher and mentor. He has taught masterclasses at universities and conservatories around the world, sharing his knowledge and experience with the next generation of pianists. Today, Eduard Botric is recognized as one of the greatest pianists of his generation.
