Elena Shumilova is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant contribution to the world of music. She was born on December 12, 1983, in Moscow, Russia. From a young age, Elena showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Elena's musical education began at the Gnessin School of Music in Moscow, where she studied under the guidance of Professor Tatiana Zelikman. She later continued her studies at the Moscow State Conservatory, where she received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in piano performance. During her time at the conservatory, Elena had the opportunity to work with some of the most renowned pianists in the world, including Dmitry Bashkirov, Elisso Virsaladze, and Pavel Nersessian. In 2005, she won the International Piano Competition in Memory of Emil Gilels, which was held in Odessa, Ukraine. She also won the International Piano Competition in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz in Kiev, Ukraine, in 2006. These victories helped to establish Elena as a rising star in the world of classical music. Elena's career as a concert pianist began in earnest after she completed her studies at the Moscow State Conservatory.
