Laura began her musical journey at the age of four when she started taking piano lessons. She showed exceptional talent and quickly progressed through the grades. At the age of eight, Laura started learning the violin, and within a year, she was already performing in local concerts. Laura's parents were her first teachers, and they provided her with a solid foundation in music theory and technique. Laura's talent did not go unnoticed, and she was soon invited to perform in various concerts and competitions. At the age of ten, Laura won her first competition, the New York State Music Teachers Association (NYSMTA) Piano Competition. This win gave her the confidence to pursue music seriously. Laura continued to excel in music, and at the age of thirteen, she was accepted into the Juilliard School's Pre-College Division. At Juilliard, Laura studied with some of the best teachers in the world, including Itzhak Perlman and Dorothy DeLay. After graduating from Juilliard, Laura continued her studies at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. Laura's career as a professional musician began in 2007 when she joined the New York Philharmonic as a first violinist.
