The Mario Ruiz Armengol Orchestra is a classical music ensemble that has been captivating audiences with its unique sound for over 50 years. Founded by Mexican composer and conductor Mario Ruiz Armengol in 1968, the orchestra has become one of the most renowned ensembles in Latin America. Mario Ruiz Armengol was born in Mexico City in 1914 and began his musical career as a pianist. He studied at the National Conservatory of Music in Mexico City and later at the Juilliard School in New York City.
