From a young age, Eric showed a natural talent for music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Eric's parents recognized his potential and enrolled him in the Juilliard School's Pre-College Division when he was just six years old. He studied under renowned pianist Yoheved Kaplinsky and quickly became one of her star pupils. Throughout his childhood and teenage years, Eric won numerous competitions and awards, including the prestigious Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition and the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition for Young Artists. He also performed as a soloist with several major orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic and the Boston Symphony Orchestra. After graduating from the Juilliard School, Eric went on to study at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. There, he continued to hone his skills under the guidance of renowned pianist Gary Graffman. In 2007, Eric made his debut at Carnegie Hall, performing Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 with the New York Philharmonic. The performance was met with critical acclaim, and Eric was praised for his technical prowess and musical sensitivity.
