Born on December 12, 1985, in Budapest, Hungary, Somogyváry showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. He quickly demonstrated a natural talent for the instrument and began studying with renowned Hungarian pianist and pedagogue, Zoltán Kocsis, at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. Under Kocsis' tutelage, Somogyváry developed a deep understanding of the classical repertoire and honed his technical skills.
