Peter Jenne was born on May 12, 1985, in Vienna, Austria. He was born into a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Peter showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Peter's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking piano lessons with his father and quickly developed his skills. By the age of ten, Peter had already won several local piano competitions and was gaining recognition as a prodigy. In 1996, Peter was accepted into the Vienna Conservatory of Music, where he studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist, Professor Franz Schmidt. During his time at the conservatory, Peter honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of classical music. In 2004, Peter graduated from the conservatory with honors and was immediately offered a position as a soloist with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. He quickly gained a reputation as one of the most talented pianists of his generation and began performing in major concert halls around the world. One of Peter's most notable performances was in 2008, when he performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. The performance was hailed as a triumph, with critics praising Peter's technical skill and emotional depth. In 2010, Peter was awarded the prestigious International Piano Competition in Moscow, cementing his status as one of the world's leading pianists. He continued to perform in major concert halls around the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York and the Royal Albert Hall in London. In addition to his solo performances, Peter also collaborated with other musicians and orchestras. He frequently performed with his mother, who was also a renowned violinist, and together they recorded several albums of classical music. Throughout his career, Peter remained dedicated to his craft and continued to push the boundaries of classical music. He was known for his innovative interpretations of classical works and his ability to bring new life to old compositions. Tragically, Peter's career was cut short when he was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in 2015. Despite undergoing extensive treatment, he passed away on June 15, 2016, at the age of 31. Peter's legacy lives on through his recordings and performances, which continue to inspire and captivate audiences around the world. He will always be remembered as one of the greatest pianists of his generation and a true master of classical music.
