Victor Rosenbaum is a renowned classical pianist and educator who has made significant contributions to the world of music. Born in 1941 in New York City, Rosenbaum began his musical journey at a young age. He started playing the piano when he was just five years old and showed exceptional talent from the very beginning. In 1961, he won the prestigious Naumburg Award, which is given to outstanding young musicians. He was also a finalist in the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 1969. He has taught at several prestigious institutions, including the New England Conservatory of Music, the Eastman School of Music, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has also served as the Artistic Director of the Musicorda Summer String Festival and the Artistic Director of the Mannes Beethoven Institute.
