After completing her studies, Hill began her professional career as a classical music artist. She quickly gained recognition for her exceptional talent and was invited to perform at some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world. Hill's performances were always well-received, and she soon became known for her technical skill and emotional depth. One of Hill's most significant performances was at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City in 1972. She performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5, also known as the "Emperor" concerto, with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra.
