Markéta Čepická is a Czech classical music artist who has made a name for herself as a talented violinist and chamber musician. Born on May 22, 1985, in Prague, Czech Republic, Čepická grew up in a family of musicians. Her father was a violinist and her mother was a pianist, so it was only natural that she would develop a love for music at a young age. Čepická began playing the violin when she was just four years old, and by the time she was six, she was already performing in public. She studied at the Prague Conservatory and later at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, where she received her Master's degree in violin performance. Throughout her career, Čepická has performed with some of the world's most renowned orchestras, including the Czech Philharmonic, the Prague Symphony Orchestra, and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. She has also collaborated with many famous conductors, such as Jiří Bělohlávek, Jakub Hrůša, and Sir Charles Mackerras. One of the highlights of Čepická's career was her performance at the 2006 Prague Spring International Music Festival, where she played the violin concerto by Czech composer Bohuslav Martinů.
