Mariëtte Holtrop is a Dutch classical music artist who has made a name for herself as a talented soprano. Born in 1985 in the Netherlands, Holtrop grew up in a musical family and began singing at a young age. She showed a natural talent for music and was encouraged by her parents to pursue her passion. Holtrop began her formal music education at the age of 10 when she started taking singing lessons. She quickly progressed and was soon performing in local concerts and competitions. One of Holtrop's most notable performances was in 2012 when she sang the role of Pamina in Mozart's opera "The Magic Flute" at the Salzburg Festival. This was a major achievement for Holtrop and helped to establish her as one of the leading sopranos of her generation. Holtrop has also received critical acclaim for her recordings. In 2014, she released her debut album "Mozart Arias" which received widespread praise from critics and audiences alike. The album features some of Mozart's most famous arias, including "Dove sono" from "The Marriage of Figaro" and "Ach, ich fühl's" from "The Magic Flute". In addition to her performing career, Holtrop is also a dedicated teacher. She has taught at several music schools and conservatories in the Netherlands and is known for her ability to inspire and motivate her students.
