Chor der Deutschen Oper am Rhein is a classical music ensemble based in Düsseldorf, Germany. The choir was founded in 1956 and has since become one of the most renowned choirs in Germany. The ensemble is known for its exceptional performances of opera, oratorio, and choral works. The choir was founded by the conductor Heinrich Hollreiser, who was the first music director of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein. The ensemble was initially made up of 60 singers, but it has since grown to include over 100 members.
