Magalhaes' talent and hard work paid off when she won first prize in the 2007 International Piano Competition in Senigallia, Italy. This competition, which attracts some of the world's most talented young pianists, was a major milestone in Magalhaes' career and brought her international recognition. Since then, Magalhaes has performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Carnegie Hall in New York, and the Royal Albert Hall in London.
