The Frank Cordell Orchestra was a classical music ensemble that was founded in the mid-20th century. The orchestra was named after its founder, Frank Cordell, who was a British composer and conductor. Cordell was born in London in 1918 and began his musical career as a trumpet player in various dance bands. He later studied composition and conducting at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
