Baynov Piano Ensemble is a classical music ensemble that has been captivating audiences with their unique and dynamic performances for over 30 years. The ensemble was founded in 1989 by the Baynov brothers, Konstantin and Slava, who are both accomplished pianists and composers. Konstantin and Slava Baynov were born in Bulgaria and began their musical training at a young age. They both studied at the Sofia Academy of Music and later at the Moscow Conservatory. After completing their studies, they began performing together as a piano duo and quickly gained recognition for their exceptional talent and musicality. In 1989, the Baynov brothers founded the Baynov Piano Ensemble, which initially consisted of four pianos and eight hands. The ensemble quickly gained popularity and began performing throughout Europe and Asia. Over the years, the ensemble has expanded to include up to six pianos and twelve hands, allowing for even more complex and intricate performances. The Baynov Piano Ensemble is known for their innovative and dynamic performances, which often include original compositions and arrangements by the Baynov brothers. Their repertoire includes a wide range of classical music, from Baroque to contemporary, as well as traditional folk music from Bulgaria and other countries. One of the highlights of the Baynov Piano Ensemble's career was their performance at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, where they played for an audience of over 100,000 people. The ensemble has also performed at numerous prestigious venues and festivals, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Salzburg Festival, and the Moscow Conservatory. In addition to their performances, the Baynov Piano Ensemble has also received numerous awards and accolades for their contributions to classical music. They have been awarded the Order of Stara Planina, one of Bulgaria's highest honors, and have been recognized by the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture for their outstanding achievements in music. Despite their many accomplishments, the Baynov Piano Ensemble remains dedicated to their craft and continues to push the boundaries of classical music.
