Triangulus is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2015 by three talented musicians, each with a passion for chamber music. The ensemble is made up of violinist Maria, cellist David, and pianist Anna, who all met while studying at the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City. The trio quickly bonded over their shared love of classical music and began performing together regularly. They soon realized that they had a unique chemistry and musicality that made their performances stand out. This led them to form Triangulus, a name that reflects both their three-person ensemble and their shared love of geometry and symmetry. Since its founding, Triangulus has become known for its dynamic and engaging performances, which showcase the individual talents of each member while also highlighting their ability to work together as a cohesive unit. The ensemble has performed at some of the most prestigious venues in the world, including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center. One of Triangulus's most notable performances was at the 2017 International Chamber Music Festival in Paris, where they were awarded the Grand Prize for their performance of Beethoven's Piano Trio No. 7 in B-flat Major. The ensemble's interpretation of the piece was praised for its technical precision, emotional depth, and musicality. In addition to their success on the concert stage, Triangulus has also been recognized for their recordings. Their debut album, released in 2018, features works by Brahms, Schumann, and Mendelssohn, and has received critical acclaim for its artistry and technical excellence. Despite their success, Triangulus remains committed to their mission of bringing classical music to new audiences and inspiring the next generation of musicians. They frequently perform in schools and community centers, and have even started their own music education program, which provides free lessons and instruments to underprivileged children.
