Time for Three is a classical music group that has been captivating audiences with their unique blend of classical, bluegrass, and jazz music since their formation in 2003. The group consists of three members: violinists Zachary De Pue and Nick Kendall, and double bassist Ranaan Meyer. Zachary De Pue, Nick Kendall, and Ranaan Meyer all grew up in musical families and began playing their respective instruments at a young age. One of the group’s most memorable performances was at the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Oslo, Norway. They performed alongside artists such as Queen Latifah, Steven Tyler, and Aloe Blacc, and their performance was broadcast to millions of viewers around the world. Time for Three has also received numerous awards and accolades for their music. In 2009, they were awarded the prestigious Leonard Bernstein Award at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival in Germany. They have also been featured on NPR’s “All Things Considered” and “Tiny Desk Concert” series, and their music has been featured in several films and television shows. In addition to their performances, Time for Three is also committed to music education. They have conducted workshops and masterclasses at schools and universities across the United States, and they have also served as artists-in-residence at the University of Indianapolis.
