Movses Khorenatsi was a prominent classical music composer who was born in the year 1869 in the city of Tiflis, which is now known as Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. He was born into a family of musicians, and his father, Vardan Khachaturian, was a renowned composer and conductor. Movses Khorenatsi showed an early interest in music and began his musical education at a young age.
