Her parents recognized her musical talent at an early age and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Elsie Griffin began her musical training at the age of six, studying piano and singing. She showed exceptional talent in both areas and quickly became a prodigy. By the age of ten, she had already performed in several concerts and had won several awards for her performances. At the age of sixteen, Elsie Griffin was accepted into the Royal Academy of Music in London, where she studied under some of the most renowned music teachers of the time. She continued to excel in both piano and singing, and her performances were highly acclaimed by both her teachers and her peers. In 1908, Elsie Griffin made her professional debut as a singer at the Royal Opera House in London. She received rave reviews for her performance and was hailed as a rising star in the world of classical music. Over the next few years, she performed in several other operas and concerts, both in London and in other parts of Europe. In 1914, Elsie Griffin was invited to perform at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City. This was a major milestone in her career, as the Metropolitan Opera was one of the most prestigious opera houses in the world. Her performance was a huge success, and she was invited back to perform several more times over the next few years. During World War I, Elsie Griffin performed for the troops in France and Belgium, entertaining them with her beautiful voice and uplifting spirit. She was awarded several medals for her service, including the Croix de Guerre and the Order of the British Empire. In the 1920s, Elsie Griffin continued to perform in operas and concerts around the world.
