Mary Siciliano was born on May 12, 1985, in New York City. She grew up in a family of musicians, with her mother being a pianist and her father a violinist. From a young age, Mary showed a natural talent for music and began taking piano lessons at the age of four. As Mary grew older, she continued to excel in music and began studying the violin as well. She attended the Juilliard School in New York City, where she earned a Bachelor of Music degree in both piano and violin performance. During her time at Juilliard, Mary studied under some of the most renowned classical musicians in the world, including Itzhak Perlman and Yo-Yo Ma. After graduating from Juilliard, Mary began her professional career as a classical musician. She quickly gained recognition for her exceptional talent and was invited to perform at some of the most prestigious venues in the world, including Carnegie Hall and the Royal Albert Hall in London. One of Mary's most notable performances was at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, where she was chosen to perform the national anthem of the United States during the opening ceremony. Her performance was widely praised for its beauty and emotional depth, and it helped to establish Mary as one of the most talented classical musicians of her generation. Over the years, Mary has received numerous awards and accolades for her work as a classical musician. In 2010, she was awarded the Avery Fisher Career Grant, which is one of the most prestigious awards in classical music.
