Dobrinski's career as a composer and arranger began in the 1980s when she started writing music for her church choir. Her compositions and arrangements quickly gained popularity, and she began receiving requests from other churches and musicians for her music. Dobrinski's music is known for its accessibility and versatility, making it popular among both professional and amateur musicians. One of Dobrinski's most famous works is her arrangement of "Praise to the Lord, the Almighty," which has become a staple in many church hymnals.
