Vivianne Sydnes is a renowned classical music artist known for her exceptional skills as a pianist. She was born on May 12, 1985, in Bergen, Norway, to a family of musicians. Her father was a pianist, and her mother was a violinist. Vivianne grew up in a musical environment and started playing the piano at the age of four. As a child, Vivianne showed a natural talent for music, and her parents recognized her potential. They encouraged her to pursue her passion for music and provided her with the necessary resources to develop her skills. Vivianne received her first piano lessons from her father, who was her first mentor and teacher. At the age of ten, Vivianne started attending the Bergen Music School, where she received formal training in piano performance. She continued her studies at the Barratt Due Institute of Music in Oslo, where she studied under the guidance of renowned pianist Håvard Gimse. In 2005, Vivianne won the Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe Scholarship, which enabled her to study at the Royal College of Music in London. She completed her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in piano performance at the Royal College of Music, where she studied under the guidance of renowned pianist Norma Fisher. Vivianne's career as a pianist took off after she won the prestigious Leeds International Piano Competition in 2009. The Leeds International Piano Competition is one of the most prestigious piano competitions in the world, and winning it is considered a significant achievement for any pianist. After winning the Leeds International Piano Competition, Vivianne's career as a pianist took off.
