Niels Eje is a Danish composer, conductor, and multi-instrumentalist who has made significant contributions to the world of classical music. Born on August 17, 1956, in Copenhagen, Denmark, Eje grew up in a family of musicians. His father was a jazz pianist, and his mother was a classical pianist. Eje started playing the piano at the age of six and later learned to play the violin, guitar, and percussion instruments.
