He was the son of Andrzej Borzym Sr., a renowned composer and conductor, and his mother, Maria Borzym, was a pianist. Borzym Jr. attended the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, where he studied composition under the tutelage of his father. He also studied conducting with Antoni Wit and Marek Pijarowski. During his time at the university, Borzym Jr. composed several works, including his first symphony, which was performed by the university orchestra. After completing his studies, Borzym Jr. began working as a freelance composer and conductor. He composed music for various ensembles, including orchestras, chamber groups, and soloists. His works were performed in Poland and abroad, including in Germany, France, and the United States. One of Borzym Jr.'s most notable works is his Symphony No. 2, which was commissioned by the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra and premiered in 2010. The symphony is a four-movement work that showcases Borzym Jr.'s skill as a composer. The first movement is a lively and energetic piece that features a prominent brass section. The second movement is a slow and contemplative piece that features a solo violin.
