She quickly demonstrated a natural talent for the instrument and began taking lessons with some of the best teachers in Latvia. Sevele's early musical education was focused on classical piano repertoire, and she quickly developed a deep appreciation for the works of composers such as Bach, Beethoven, and Chopin. She also began to explore the works of more contemporary composers, including those from her native Latvia. As a teenager, Sevele began to gain recognition for her musical abilities, winning several competitions and awards in Latvia and throughout Europe. Sevele's success in these competitions led to opportunities to perform in some of the most prestigious concert halls in Europe, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Vienna Konzerthaus, and the Amsterdam Concertgebouw. She also began to collaborate with other musicians, forming a chamber music ensemble with other young Latvian musicians. In 2006, Sevele was awarded a scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where she continued to develop her skills as a pianist and chamber musician. After completing her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, Sevele returned to Latvia, where she continued to perform and teach. She also began to explore new musical genres, collaborating with jazz musicians and experimenting with electronic music. In 2012, Sevele was awarded the Latvian Grand Music Award, the highest honor in Latvian music, for her contributions to the classical music scene in Latvia. She was also named a Steinway Artist, joining a select group of pianists who are recognized for their exceptional talent and dedication to the instrument. Sevele's career has continued to flourish in recent years, with performances in some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York and the Royal Albert Hall in London. She has also continued to collaborate with other musicians, including violinist Gidon Kremer and cellist Mischa Maisky. In addition to her work as a performer, Sevele is also a dedicated teacher, working with young musicians in Latvia and throughout Europe.
