Ensemble Dialoghi is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2008 by a group of young musicians who shared a passion for historically informed performance. The ensemble is based in Italy and is known for its innovative and dynamic approach to classical music. The founding members of Ensemble Dialoghi were violinist Roberto De Franceschi, cellist Luigi Piovano, and harpsichordist Edoardo Torbianelli. They were soon joined by other talented musicians, including violinist Stefano Barneschi, violist Daniele Pascoletti, and flutist Marcello Gatti. From the beginning, Ensemble Dialoghi was committed to performing music from the Baroque and Classical periods on period instruments, using historically informed performance practices. This approach involves researching the original performance conditions of the music and using instruments and techniques that would have been used at the time the music was written. One of the highlights of Ensemble Dialoghi's early career was their performance at the prestigious Festival de Musique Baroque de Pontoise in France in 2009. The ensemble received critical acclaim for their performance of works by Bach, Handel, and Vivaldi. Since then, Ensemble Dialoghi has gone on to perform at major festivals and concert halls throughout Europe and the United States. They have collaborated with renowned soloists such as mezzo-soprano Ann Hallenberg and countertenor Philippe Jaroussky. In 2012, Ensemble Dialoghi released their debut album, "Concerti per violino e archi," which featured works by Vivaldi, Corelli, and Locatelli. The album received widespread critical acclaim and was nominated for a prestigious International Classical Music Award. In 2015, Ensemble Dialoghi released their second album, "Bach: Concerti per violino," which featured works by J.S. Bach. The album was praised for its virtuosic performances and sensitive interpretations of Bach's music. One of the most memorable performances by Ensemble Dialoghi was their 2017 concert at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, where they performed Bach's "Brandenburg Concertos" to a sold-out audience. The concert was hailed as a triumph and cemented Ensemble Dialoghi's reputation as one of the leading ensembles in the world of historically informed performance. Ensemble Dialoghi continues to push the boundaries of classical music performance, exploring new repertoire and collaborating with musicians from diverse backgrounds. They are committed to bringing the music of the Baroque and Classical periods to life in a way that is fresh, exciting, and relevant to modern audiences.More....
