Benedict Nelson is a British baritone who has established himself as one of the leading classical music artists of his generation. Born in 1978 in London, Nelson grew up in a musical family and began singing at a young age. He attended the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he studied with renowned vocal coach Mark Wildman. Nelson's career began to take off in the early 2000s, when he won several prestigious singing competitions, including the Kathleen Ferrier Award and the Royal Overseas League Music Competition.
