Oskar Lindberg was a Swedish composer and pianist who was born on February 23, 1887, in Skövde, Sweden. He was the son of a music teacher and grew up in a musical family. Lindberg began playing the piano at a young age and showed great talent. He studied at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, where he was a student of Ernst Ellberg and later studied with Wilhelm Stenhammar.
