Mary-Katherine Finch is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born on May 15, 1978, in London, England, Mary-Katherine showed an early interest in music and began playing the cello at the age of six. Her parents, both musicians, recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Mary-Katherine's early education in music was at the Royal College of Music in London, where she studied under the tutelage of renowned cellist William Pleeth. She later went on to study at the Juilliard School in New York City, where she received her Bachelor of Music degree. She continued her studies at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, where she earned her Master of Music degree. She performed the Dvorak Cello Concerto with the New York Youth Symphony, receiving critical acclaim for her performance. Mary-Katherine has also made a significant impact in the world of chamber music. She has performed with many of the world's leading chamber ensembles, including the Emerson String Quartet and the Guarneri Quartet.
