Angelo Mascheroni was an Italian composer and conductor who was born on August 13, 1855, in Bergamo, Italy. He was the son of a musician and began his musical education at a young age. He studied at the Milan Conservatory, where he was a student of Amilcare Ponchielli, and later at the Paris Conservatory, where he studied with Jules Massenet.
