St. John's College Choir is a world-renowned classical music ensemble that has been captivating audiences for over 500 years. The choir is based at St. John's College, Cambridge, and is made up of 16 choristers and 14 choral scholars, all of whom are students at the college. The origins of the choir can be traced back to the 1670s, when the college began to establish a reputation for musical excellence. However, it was not until the 19th century that the choir began to take on its current form, with the introduction of boy choristers and the appointment of a professional choirmaster.
