Mike Truesdell is a renowned percussionist and composer in the world of classical music. Born in 1983 in the United States, Truesdell grew up in a family of musicians and was exposed to music from a young age. He studied under the guidance of Robert van Sice, a world-renowned percussionist and composer, and performed with the Yale Philharmonia, the school's premier orchestra. After completing his studies at Yale, Truesdell began his career as a professional musician. He quickly gained a reputation as a talented percussionist and composer, and began performing with some of the most prestigious orchestras and ensembles in the world. One of Truesdell's most notable performances was with the New York Philharmonic in 2012. He was invited to perform as a soloist in the world premiere of "Concerto for Timpani and Orchestra" by composer Christopher Rouse.
