Roberta Daugelaite is a Lithuanian classical music artist who has made a name for herself as a talented pianist and chamber musician. Born on May 22, 1989, in Vilnius, Lithuania, Roberta showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue her passion for music. Roberta's early musical education was at the National M.K. Ciurlionis School of Arts in Vilnius, where she studied under the guidance of Professor Rasa Biveiniene. She continued her studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, where she earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Piano Performance. During her studies, Roberta participated in numerous competitions and festivals, winning several awards and prizes. In 2012, Roberta was awarded the prestigious Lithuanian National Culture and Art Scholarship, which allowed her to continue her studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg, Germany. There, she studied under the guidance of Professor Ralf Nattkemper and earned her second Master's degree in Piano Performance. Roberta's talent and hard work have earned her numerous awards and accolades throughout her career. In 2013, she won first prize at the International Piano Competition "Citta di Barletta" in Italy. In 2014, she was awarded the "Best Chamber Musician" prize at the International Chamber Music Competition in Lithuania. In 2015, she won first prize at the International Piano Competition "Citta di Cantu" in Italy. Roberta has also been recognized for her exceptional talent as a chamber musician. In 2016, she won first prize at the International Chamber Music Competition "Premio Trio di Trieste" in Italy, as a member of the "Trio Artis" ensemble. In 2017, she won first prize at the International Chamber Music Competition "Citta di Pinerolo" in Italy, as a member of the "Trio Artis" ensemble. Roberta has performed in numerous concerts and festivals throughout Europe, Asia, and the United States. She has collaborated with many renowned musicians, including violinist Gidon Kremer, cellist David Geringas, and pianist Andras Schiff. In 2018, Roberta performed at the prestigious "Chopin and his Europe" festival in Warsaw, Poland, where she received critical acclaim for her performance. Roberta's repertoire includes works by many great composers, including Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, and Schumann. She is particularly passionate about the music of Chopin, and has performed his works in many concerts and festivals. In 2019, she released her debut album, "Chopin: The Complete Nocturnes," which received critical acclaim and was praised for its sensitivity and musicality. In addition to her career as a performer, Roberta is also a dedicated teacher. She has taught piano at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, as well as at the National M.K.
