He then went on to study at the Moscow Conservatory, where he was mentored by the legendary violinist David Oistrakh. Todorov's time in Moscow was a turning point in his career, as he was exposed to a new level of musical excellence that would shape his future performances. After completing his studies, Todorov began his career as a soloist and chamber musician, performing in some of the most prestigious concert halls around the world. He was known for his technical mastery of the violin, as well as his ability to convey deep emotion through his performances. Todorov's performances were often described as "spellbinding," and he quickly gained a reputation as one of the most talented violinists of his generation. Todorov was known for his rigorous teaching style, and his students went on to achieve great success in their own careers. Sadly, Todor Todorov passed away on January 13, 2018, at the age of 69.
