The Glyndebourne Festival Orchestra and Chorus is a world-renowned classical music ensemble that has been entertaining audiences for over 85 years. Founded in 1934 by John Christie and his wife, Audrey Mildmay, the ensemble has become synonymous with the Glyndebourne Festival, an annual opera festival held in the grounds of Glyndebourne House in East Sussex, England.
