Melissa Hasin is a renowned cellist and composer in the world of classical music. Born in Los Angeles, California, in 1965, Hasin grew up in a family of musicians. Her father was a jazz pianist, and her mother was a classical pianist. Hasin started playing the cello at the age of six and quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument.
